Archiving (backup) media
For archiving any backup media is appropriate that can be used as logical drive.
The DVD disks, large capacity external USB hard disks and pen drives (flash memories) are cheap and reliable devices for long term data storage. Safety backups of voice recordings can be made both manually and automatically. Authorized users can convert voice recordings into WAV and MP3 formats on the CCRL voice logger servers locally or by remote client programs via LAN or Internet, so these can be played back on any standard office computer too.
